Christmas, A Great Opportunity for Romance…

Well, I woke up this morning and before attending Sunday morning worship service, I got online to check my email.

When what to my wandering eyes should appear? An advertisement whose background was a cartoon version of children building a snowman on a snowy blustery day. And I realized… Christmas will be here in no time at all!!!

Something I personally do every single Christmas for years and years now is plan something that will “romance” my husband every day throughout the Christmas season.

Why? Because I am usually so busy every day with holiday planning and my fear used to be that my Honey would feel like a second-class citizen. Even though I had cookies to bake, gifts to purchase and wrap, cards and letters to write and send, the tree and house to decorate, entertaining to participate in (or host), church Christmas programs to help with (and the list goes on and on), I wanted him to know unequivocally that he was then and always will be loved by me.

2Although I have created probably eight to ten plans, the one that has unequivocally been the most amazing EVER has been Christmas Romance: 25 Dazzling Days to Romance Your Spouse Through Christmas.

What makes this plan so amazing, you ask? Well, I think it’s maybe because it’s easy, it’s extremely dramatic to the recipient, and all the work is done before beginning to daily present it.

I created this plan years ago and sold it for maybe ten years or more online. It sold massive amounts and every rating I got was a 5- out of 5 stars. I got phone calls to thank me for it, and many husbands and wives either emailed me or called and asked if I was going to create any more plans like this one.

Am I tooting my own horn? No. In fact I feel humbled that it has been so successful. All I know is that I used it myself one Christmas before ever writing it up in book form.

All the above to say this: Don’t wait until its into December to realize you’re somehow not recognizing in a special way the person you supposedly love most. While I continue to work on my newest novel, Fixing His Broken Ballerina: Volume 1, my hope is that my readers will be giving thought to how to romance their spouse during that celebration season.

This plan DOES NOT disappoint!
