“When I woke up this morning, it was with great excitement! Today is the day we’re I’m putting up the Christmas tree and beginning to decorate the house. This is just so thrilling, I can’t stand it! I love watching the house as it is all the rest of the year take on the regality of the Birthday Party for Jesus that will be celebrated everywhere in the world!

My husband and I have hosted international students from all corners of the world. One of them who happened to be here during Christmas one year was from Japan. He was so thrilled to celebrate with us, although he was not a Christian. I asked him why he enjoyed it so much. He said that his family celebrated Christmas as well, and he was missing it that year. I asked him why they celebrated Christmas, when they didn’t believe in Jesus Christ. His answer was that they just loved the decorations, the tree, the gifts, and they would take ANY excuse to have a huge family party.

That got me thinking. In the Bible, Luke 19:40, it says: “And he (Jesus) answered and said unto them, ‘I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.” Jesus will get His Praise, if not from those of us who claim Him as Lord, then even the inanimate will cry out His praise.

In honesty, I have to say that I was intending to give my readers a Christmas FREEBIE deal today on the novel I am currently writing, but the truth of it is that I think it might cheapen what I’ve shared above.

And so I will simply say shout out at the top of my lungs…
