“Rejoice! Jesus Christ is born!”

What an incredible message to us that God was willing to take the form of man and come to this Earth.

You know, if you ask people why Jesus did that, you’d probably get an assortment of answers. But, the truth is that Jesus came to the Earth for one very pointed purpose, that of dying a horrendous death on the cross… just to pay OUR sin penalty so that we wouldn’t have to.

But, it all would have been in vain if He’d stayed dead. His Sacrifice would have been worthless. Even the Scriptures say that if our hope in Christ is only for our lifetime, we are of all people most miserable.

1 Corinthians 15:19 says, “If only in this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.” (NIV)

But again I say…

“Rejoice! Jesus was born, died on Calvary, and rose again… and He lives forevermore! And, because He Lives, I will live forever!”

I will forever praise you, Lord!
